Matt Hawkins, MD is a nationally-known, invited lecturer that has given over 220 nationally invited lectures on topics ranging from medical coding, reimbursement, clinical IR practice development, artificial intelligence, quality improvement, informatics, retail-clinic radiology, advanced practice providers, high-functioning teams, in addition to a variety of topics within the realm of clinical interventional radiology.

His engaging, unique style and emphasis on the interdependence of all components impacting healthcare lead to well-received, informative, actionable talks that captivate audiences and often result in repeat invitations.

He has been a Keynote and/or Grand Rounds speaker at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, Wake Forest School of Medicine, Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital, Mt. Sinai Icahn School of Medicine, University of Colorado, the University of Iowa, Texas Children’s Hospital, the Lahey Clinic, Indiana University, the University of Cincinnati, Michigan State University, University of Michigan, Boston Children’s Hospital, Vanderbilt University, Medical University of South Carolina, and the University of Mississippi.

He also serves as faculty for the ACR’s Radiology Leadership Institute and has been asked to speak at innumerable national meetings, including the ACR Annual Meeting, the RSNA, SIIM, Society of Interventional Radiology, the RLI Summit, the Society for Pediatric Radiology, and many state radiological societies. He is also the creator and course director of the “Business of IR” meeting hosted by the Society of Interventional Radiology.
